When the Mi A1 came out last year, I was in complete shock. The kind of value for money it provided was amazing and it had a great camera setup that was even better than the mediocre one found in the flagship mi Mix 2. It also had stock Android which was another bonus for many although some may prefer its MIUI running twin brother over it. However since then, the smartphone has received a price cut and is now available at Rs 13,999 if not lower. It was hard to see how Xiaomi could do better but they might just have. The new Redmi Note 5 Pro seems like a serious contender capable of stealing the best value for money phone title away from the A1. However, specifications only tell part of the story. Let's see how these two phones stack up against each other.
