The history of 3Crosses Church is inextricably intertwined with that of the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. The church was founded as a congregation of three elderly women and a Sunday school of 15 in 1937, the same year that saw completion of both the San Francisco Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge.
Last year, 3Crosses brought in Michael Garrison of Michael Garrison Associates to design a new sound system for their 1500-seat performing arts center. While the church's technical crew were focused on a traditional line array, Garrison was instrumental in opening their eyes and ears to another possibility. Ultimately, the church opted to go with EAW's adaptive technology. The new Anna system with Otto subs has dramatically changed the way they mix, and the way they hear.
