Hello everyone! Just after visiting a unique place in Cordoba/Spain, I knew this was to happen. I had been waiting for this moment since summer, I've been trying to find some musical ideas that could reflect the ambiance of this mosque/cathedral.
The instruments 'Saz' and 'Ud' were carefully integrated considering its era and then some orchestral elements with respect to the Christian influence after the 13th century.
At last, I tried to merge the religions and cultures, and make them sound in harmony with all the 'Saz, ud, guitar, choir, french horn etc.' Cause for me these places are just like a festival for me, having such things to learn and enjoy. Apart from all ideologies and religions, I just see how almighty this building is. Join me in this festival and don't fall into the stereotypes that we're constantly exposed to.
Clearly, I've been inspired by all 'Assassin's Creed' game music :) Jesper Kyd is one of my favorite composers in this respect.
What I wanted was just to emphasize the richness it carries through the centuries. I hope you enjoy it and one day be able to visit the edifice.
