Jimi Hendrix and Morgan Freeman

okay maybe not so much the last one
I have compiled a few clips of Jimi Hendrix talking and compared them to Morgan Freeman interview.
Both of their voices are in the lower register except Morgan has a slightly southern accent and Jimi has a slightly british accent.
To me they look like they could be related.
