(14 Aug 2018) A eyewitness has been describing how armed police surrounded a vehicle moments after it ran down a group of pedestrians and cyclists and crashed into a security barrier outside parliament in London.
ITN cameraman Donovan Parsons was one of the first on the scene.
"The volume of the crash was so loud that it sounded like he (suspect) must have been doing some speed. On a roundabout you generally go slower so it seemed to be like it was probably intentional," said Parsons.
London police said the motorist who slammed into pedestrians and cyclists near Britain's Houses of Parliament was arrested on suspicion of terrorist offences.
Officials said no other suspects have been identified and there is no "intelligence" of further danger to London.
