Do you have a gas odor coming from your range or oven? Inspect that the surface burners and caps are installed correctly onto the cooktop. Correctly installed surface burners and caps should have a uniform flame with minimal orange tipping. If the cap and surface burner is not installed correctly, the flame will not be uniform and have excessive orange tipping. This can also create a poor air-to-fuel mixture and result in a gas odor while operating the cooktop.
