Rajya Sabha MP, S Phangnon Konyak has been appointed to the Department related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture. The Bharatiya Janata Party of Nagaland extended its heartiest congratulations to the Rajya Sabha MP for her recent appointment to the department. The party further stated that Phangnon Konyak, fought her way to become the first woman to be elected as member of parliament in Rajya Sabha from the state of Nagaland
