The Kargil War Memorial stands as a tribute to the brave soldiers of India who were martyred in the Kargil War in 1999. Visiting the Kargil War Memorial also known as Dras War Memorial is a very touching experience and nothing less than a pilgrimage for Indians.
We visited the Kargil Memorial when it was literally covered with snow to pay our tribute to the martyred soldiers.
