Former Labor MP Michael Danby says Premier Daniel Andrews has imposed a “socialist left government” on Victoria.
“It’s going to continue unfortunately with his successor,” Mr Danby told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
The former Labor MP’s comments come after Mr Andrews resigned as Victorian Premier after nine years in the role.
Deputy Premier of Victoria Jacinta Allan has put her hands up for the job following the Premier’s resignation.
“Dan Andrews is going to be successful in imposing his boilerplate socialist left ally Jacinta Allan as the next premier,” Mr Danby said.
