We developed a tomato leaf disease detection system using the YOLOv8 object detection model that can identify early blight, late blight, black spot, target spot, healthy leaves, and leaf mold on tomato plants from images. The model was trained on a custom dataset and achieved high accuracy in detecting these common tomato diseases at an early stage, which is crucial for timely treatment and preventing crop losses
