Our Live Tropical Weather Bulletin for Friday, July 2, 2021 will focus heavily on Tropical Storm Elsa in the Atlantic Ocean as she races towards the Lesser Antilles and into the Caribbean Sea later today.

Tropical Storm Elsa current has maximum winds of 40kts and pressure of 1004mb according to Force Thirteen analysis and continues on a path to the WNW. Elsa's forward speed is expected to slow, and a turn to the NW is anticipated, but the timing will be critical to determining the impacts on Cuba, Hispaniola, and eventually the Florida Coast.

In the South Atlantic, Raoni persists as a depression with maximum sustained winds of 30kts and a minimum central pressure of 1012mb.
