The garden is bare in January, so you can see the design. With the help of a friend, Matt Jackson of Land & Heritage, we sat round a kitchen table and drew it out.
Our aim was to create a garden we could enjoy all year round (from the windows in the winter). We also needed to make it as easy as possible to look after.
Middle-sized gardening is a constant balancing act between cost, space and the time you have to look after the garden! This is what works for us - you may find it helpful for your garden, too.
