Captain Ibrahim Rasheed, more commonly known as Captain Iburey, is not an unfamiliar name to anyone working in the aviation industry.
Holding license no. 001, he is the first person to become a pilot in the Maldives. He has driven a long and fruitful career of 39 years serving the aviation field in multiple capacities.
He began his career as a pilot starting in Air Maldives in August of 1983. Captain Rasheed also worked as a pilot in MNDF for nearly 22 years.
He has dedicated about 23 years of his time and expertise to the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority.
Currently working at Villa Air as an instructor and a line pilot Captain Rasheed also provides additional trainings to those within the airline.
