The Warthog's HOTAS schema makes DCS A-10C II Maverick employment is a fiddly affair. With practice though, you'll be able to fire a ripple of AGM65 Maverick missiles with the help of the Litening II Targeting Pod. The IR Mav has the range to hit targets from a distance and the ability to work in low light conditions, making it the perfect anti-tank weapon for the Warthog.
A note on control terminology in the A10:
The control schema for the real A10C's HOTAS refers to certain multi-function switches by their shape. These include the Coolie Hat and the China Hat switch, which are subsequently used in the tutorials, settings pages and documentation for the DCS module. I have used this language unchanged in the video because it is important to clearly communicate which controls i am using, however it should be noted that these names reference and reinforce lazy racial stereotypes and can be considered derogatory.
