Welcome to a walking tour through the northern part of the city of Zurich. Enjoy a walk through a quarter with some of the largest skyscrapers in the city.
The tour starts at Zurich Oerlikon Railway Station (Bahnhof Zürich Oerlikon), a major junction for the Zürich S-Bahn network and the Swiss railway network as a whole. With approximately 85’000 passengers per day, Zurich Oerlikon is the seventh busiest Railway Station in Switzerland.
Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland with more than 400'000 inhabitants. The urban area (agglomeration) includes more than 1.4 million inhabitants. The city is located at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich.
