What does good leadership in crisis look like? In this time of unprecedented challenge related to COVID-19, what can we learn from the great leaders of the past?
Nancy F. Koehn is the author of "Forged in Crisis: The Power of Courageous Leadership in Turbulent Times" and a business historian at Harvard Business School, where she is the James E. Robison Professor of Business Administration. In this conversation, Koehn and Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) President Phil Buchanan, author of "Giving Done Right: Effective Philanthropy and Making Every Dollar Count," explore key questions about leadership in a time of crisis, with a particular focus on the challenges facing those in philanthropy and nonprofits. CEP Vice President for Programming and External Relations Grace Nicolette hosted the webinar and shared welcoming remarks.
