Ms Naela Gabr, a member of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women, talks about the role of the Committee and the valuable contribution that national human rights institutions can make to its work.
Ms Gabr was a keynote speaker at the 11th International Conference of National Human Rights Institutions, held in Amman, Jordan, from 5-7 November 2012.
