After picking up a vintage Olmpus OM 50 mm 1.4 G.Zuiko Lens, in order to use it you need to get a adapter ring for you camera. For me it was the Canon T2i using a Olympus OM adaptor to EOS. You can just buy finished one on amazon for $20-$35 dollars ( [ Ссылка ] )
Why you need one:
1. it allows you to focus confirm from the eye piece and focus points rather than using the LiveView mode which uses more power.
2. Audiable focus confirm
3. Works with the built in focus points.
They have adaptors with chips on it for sale, but if you cant find one, you can always glue on your ring yourself.
