This alarm is currently in service above the door to the basement. This is the only CO alarm in the house which is a code violation. Code requires a CO alarm at least in every level of the house. There’s not even a single alarm in the basement. Not even a smoke alarm. Yet another code violation. Even though the alarm is only 10 months old, I might replace it soon because the piezo is not loud at all which is incredibly dangerous in a real CO situation. The replacement will be either a Kidde KN-COPP-B-LPM or a Kidde KN-COPP-3. The smoke alarms serving in the house right now are 4 Family Gard FG200’s. One near the kitchen and 3 in bedrooms. All manufactured in April 18, 2022. Might replace those as well because they’re very cheap and they aren’t loud either.
