I'm not really sure what I was going for here, a bit of a hybrid bloom swipe. I quite like the piece, but I did go against one of my golden rules and I have paid the price. My Payne's Grey was not a freshly mixed and I've ended up with bubbles.... lots of bubbles. That's what you get when you take shortcuts. But it's also a great example of what happens when don't mix fresh paints.
