After months of slamming their words across the state, 18 finalists from heats in Blackall, Brisbane, Mackay, Rockhampton, Logan, Cairns, Goondiwindi and Moreton Bay let their words take flight at the Queensland State Final of the Australian Poetry Slam 2013 at State Library of Queensland on 20 September. The Go Violets performed at the Queensland Final.
