SAVE ARMENIAN CHILDREN – AN APPEAL FOR PEACE !
Dear friends, musicians, and people from all over the world,
As many of you might already know, Armenia is going through hard times, trying to stand firm and fight for its right to live as a nation. It has already been ten days since we woke up to the news of the war, and Armenian populated cities and towns are still bombarded with missiles and heavy artillery, the first victims being a mother and nine-year-old girl.
We always chose peace over war, but we also chose to be strong and preserve our historical and cultural heritage. It's not easy to be a child and witness bullets and bombs flying over your head. And it is even worse when we raise our voices for support from friends and see many countries simply closing their eyes, and people acting unperturbed and unaffected. It makes us wonder whether our lives and art even matter in their eyes.
We, as children who spread peace and share music all over the world, are now seeking support from all of you. We start a peaceful protest by sharing music and raising awareness about what is going on in the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. We dedicate this song to the peace in the world. Let us be the last nation in the world that witnesses such aggression, violence, and has to live through a war. All we ask you is to stand next to us and join our protest by making music and sharing it with the whole world. We are the builders of tomorrow's world, therefore we are responsible for the future and have to raise our voice and demand peace now.
