This video shows you how to install a new direct fit coolant reservoir or overflow tank from TRQ in your 2007-2013 Chevy Silverado. Your vehicle is equipped with a tank containing extra coolant, and space for the coolant to overflow to when the system gets hot. A cracked or broken tank could slowly drain your vehicle of much needed fluid. A dirty tank could send debris into the system, clogging it.
This repair was done on a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3L Extended Cab Pickup 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
