A unique process exclusive to ART machines that allows rigid tapping to be performed on a cnc router. Rigid tapping is a high end feature not usually seen on a router table. The ART ProfileShop controller knows the pitch and suitable rpm for each tool and material combination and automatically synchronises the rotation and feed to match the tap. No special tool path is required!
