The strike at Makerere University has entered the eighth day after police blocked students from accessing the University's so called freedom square. The students had planned to gather at the Freedom square for a general assembly, in which the Guild President Julius Kateregga would explain the University council's stand on a proposed increment on the tuition increment policy.
