Here's a basic OTIS 2000 E elevator with a simple control system; it can only handle one call at a time and ignoring other calls until it has finished serving that particular call. This elevator only goes up to a small lounge area upstairs. The machine room is on the ground floor right behind the shaft, and believe it or not, the access door is right inside a male's toilet! Now that's an unusual location for a machine room access! At first I wasn't going to film this elevator because it's just another boring OTIS 2000 but I changed my mind when I accidentally found that unusual location of the machine room access. There was a multi storey parking garage at the other end of the terminal and it also has an OTIS 2000, but it is the hydraulic version (2000 H) so I skipped that because it's boring.
