The victim of a suspected murder at a Birmingham house of multiple occupation (HMO) has now been named, after a fellow resident at the address is charged with the offence. Anthony Sharma, of Doidge Road in Stockland Green in Erdington, was found at a property in the street in Friday (November 10) just after 1pm.
Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene but nothing could be done to save the 43-year-old who had suffered fatal injuries. Diogo Bettencourt was arrested at the property and the 35-year-old has been charged with murder.
