Sony MD Player MZ N1 Fix Not Record Issue.
It is a common issue of the MD players. When it is recording, all seems fine until you replay it. Just silent. Then when you pop-up and put back the disc, it tells you "Blankdisc". Thus, many also refer this to the Blankdisc problem.
The cause is the cracking/broken ribbon cable connecting the recording head and mainboard.
A well know standard fix is to jump the broken ribbon cable. This video is showing this procedure.
