Here's the second installment of the 2013 250 MX Shootout Roundtables, where we discuss the second place finisher Kawasaki KX250F. After winning the 250 MX shootout the last three years, hopes were high for the green quarter-liter race machine. For 2013, the KX250F had some big changes from last years model. In the engine department it has more compression, internal upgrades and an acoustic resonator chamber on the header. As for the chassis, the frame was revised and the Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) bumped up from 47mm to 48mm. Dirt Rider Editor Chris Denison sits down with Associate Editor Kris Keefer and Senior Editor Adam Booth to go over the bikes performance in detail. They share what they liked, what they didn't and why. Keep checking www.dirtrider.com for the next videos which will cover the Suzuki RM-Z250, Yamaha YZ250F, KTM 250 SX-F, and the Husqvarna TC250R. The full shootout is in the March 2013 issue of Dirt Rider if you prefer to see all the bikes in one, easy to carry package.
