Border operations at the Mutukula one stop border post in Rakai District have steadily recovered in the last few months after a major interruption in 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.
For the past year exporters and importers have faced long transit times due to driver Covid-19 testing at the border point or at the port.
A year into the coronavirus related travel restrictions the border is fast becoming the route of import and exports from Uganda and the EAC region.
