This fight was definitely something. Took a lot of trial and error to figure out what balance of survivability and damage would work for the equipment I have. I ended up spending a while farming Crystal Cactuars so I could level more weapons, and also rerolled a lot of Brands to make things work.

Cloud and Aerith relied on just HP and MDEF to survive the opening of Megaflare, Hellfire, and Crimson Flare, but Red XIII relied more on Fire Resistance in order to make it manageable. I ended up picking up Red's Ultimate Leather Collar to make the healing more consistent in the opening, as the damage and healing variance would sometimes result in losing Cloud. It also raised Red's PDEF just enough to survive a Divebomb.

Cloud was the only one with enough HP and PDEF to survive Divebomb with only a low PATK Down on Bahamut from Debrave. If Bahamut targeted Aerith or Red, I had to use Ultimate Braver to put a high PATK Down on Bahamut. You can only use that once per battle, though, so it was essential that Bahamut targeted Cloud at least once.

Ifrit's Ignition gauge is probably the main danger of the fight, once you can survive all the big hits. What ended up being most consistent for me was tanking the first Heatwave at full force, then using the summons to bring it down. That way I didn't have to deal with the Heatwave refilling the bar, and it enabled me to take advantage of Aerith's ATB boost. The other essential thing was saving Cloud's ATB to hit Ifrit twice after the second Heatwave.

The fight largely loops after each Crimson Flare, with some slight changes. I could've used Diamond Dust a couple more times, but I wanted to ensure I had it up for the Ignition gauge when needed. If relying on a single target weapon, it's very helpful to keep Bio up on Ifrit in order to do enough damage, but since I was using the Bahamut Greatsword as my main damage source, it was better for me not to use Bio. Once one of the bosses is defeated, the other enters an enrage cast, so you have to finish them off around the same time.
