To summarize:
Tension in your wrist, forearm, etc, while aiming, is not necessarily bad. In some cases, it does help. Extremely long range hitscan it helps heaps to add a bit of tension into the mix. However, you need to be careful on how much you tense up when just playing regularly. It will introduce inconsistency into your play that will hinder your progress as a player.
Let me know your thoughts, progress, etc. Appreciate it.
Also, when I said "Overwatch was my first fps" it was because I intended to talk about how easy it was for me to fall into the trope of tensing up whenever I aimed BECAUSE it was my first FPS. I spaced that and never brought it up, so me having brought it up just seems like I'm trying to boast or something and that was not my intention.
