Indian Pitta (Pitta brachyura )
Indian Pitta is also called Navrang, because the color of its feather is nine. This colorful bird inhabits woodland areas with dense underground. It is widely found in Kanha National Park from summer to October, and its loud noise can often be heard, especially in late summer. The diet consists of insects and larvae.
