I can't believe that 2 months have gone without a virtual tour! I spent every week thinking about different places and dynamic videos to publish, and the result is that this channel has now more than 400 subscribers. To all of you that enjoyed my videos so far, and supported me by subscribing and commenting on the videos, thank you so much. To all those who are new to my YouTube family: welcome!


I am a tour guide and travel consultant in Central Portugal, and in this channel I make available weekly videos about my beautiful country. If you're curious about Portuguese Heritage in general, then this is the place for you!


One of the most meaningful traditions of Portugal is Fado (meaning, fate... destiny). A unique kind of music that you can hear while in this country. But did you know that there are two different kinds of Fado? The one of Lisbon... and the one of Coimbra? Can you tell the differences between them? Have you ever heard both of them? In this video I lift a little bit of the veil of Fado of Coimbra, its origins and the deep connection it has with our centenary University!
