The Mark of the Beast is implemented after the first four trumpets and the devil rises to power during the fifth trumpet. During the sixth trumpet the devil changes from a beneficent leader to a global dictator. He will kill 1/3 of the world population and divide everyone into groups of 1,000 people. He will assign one leader and the remaining two groups will either choose to accept the Mark of the Beast (2/3's or 666 people) or choose to live by faith (1/3 or 333 people). The Mark of the Beast will be a tattoo on the hands of people who accept the devil's mark. The people choosing to walk by faith will accept the seal of God and no longer had a desire for sin.
