(25 Mar 1984) GS CAS SOWETO: A memorial service is held on the 24th anniversary
28038411 of the "Sharpeville massacre" when South African police
1"VT+BVU opened fire on a crowd of black Africans killing 69 blacks
and wounding 178. The service at the St. Francis of Assissi
church was organised by the Azanian People's Organisation
(AZAPO).
