The ADF is celebrating a decade of the United States Force Posture Initiatives Program.
Announced in 2011 as an extension of the existing alliance, Australia and the US agreed to expand defence cooperation by introducing a series of highly complex joint training exercises to better prepare the interoperability of the alliance for rapid response in the region.
Program initiatives have included deeper air-to-air integration, advanced warfighting, logistics, refuelling, maintenance, and aeromedical evacuation procedures.
