Pros:
- can fulfill some roles of other pedals, while being very unique
- goes from transparent clean to quite full frequency high gain
- can boost low frequencies if needed (especially for bass)
- quality build without noise
- for any instrument and amp (quite transparent, so if you like the base sound, you will like the OverZoid even more)

Cons:
- no internal battery
- SMT except for jacks & footswitch (mini pedals often need this)

Neutral:
- mechanical true bypass (something which we often prefer)

The Verdict:
You may have all the classic drives on your board already. Even then, the OverZoid Mini can carve a path through: compact to fit in and with a unique drive, clipping, and boost tones. If you don't have any drive pedals, you'll find its small size and full frequency response easy to integrate in your guitar-straight-to-amp style setup. And whether you play guitar or bass (no lows cut here), clean or high gain amps (as a drive or as a boost), it is ready to impress with a new sound. And even if you fear you may not like something “different”, it does transparent and full frequency too, so if you like your setup as it is, you'll definitely want to hear it with an OverZoid too. .
