This video provides basic asbestos awareness information for disaster relief volunteers. The purpose is to better prepare volunteers to recognize the need to refrain from engaging in asbestos abatement activity; to assist volunteers to be able to conduct relief efforts without resulting in adverse conditions for other volunteers, patrons and children; as well as for volunteers to understand that reporting suspected hazards through the chain-of-command is the proper course of action if suspected contamination is present.
