It takes only about 3 to 4 hours drive between Tagudin, Ilocos Sur and Bontoc or Sagada via Bessang Pass, Cervantes. This is the faster, more scenic route going to and from the Cordillera, avoiding the heavy traffic via Baguio and the Halsema Highway.
