10 Times Marvel Actors Voiced Animated Characters

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe expands, so too does its massive roster of Hollywood talent. Amongst these thespians are a whole slew of part time voice actors, such as Olivia Colman, currently set to star in Secret Invasion, who also lent her voice to the villainous PAL in The Mitchells vs the Machines. So, we’re going to take a look at ten other MCU actors who’ve already made their mark on the franchise and who have also stretched their vocal cords… which isn’t a saying, but you get it. While we’re angling to discuss one notable character per actor, we’ll also be throwing in a few extra characters for those actors who are more prolific… i.e. basically everyone except Robert Downey Jr, who despite being the first and most lucrative of the MCU’s heroic stable, has only eked out a single voice credit to his name (unless you count him playing Tony Stark in the Iron Man video game, anyway).

Others, like Benedict Cumberbatch, have played a whole litany of characters, many of whom are villainous, while folks like Don Cheadle and Lee Pace have had small but memorable vocal appearances in their time. We’ll talk massive franchises like Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spongebob Squarepants, and even Family Guy — plus anime like Weathering With You and lesser known work like the poorly performing Early Man from Aardman Animation. All this and more as we count done animated characters who you didn’t know — or at least forgot — were voiced by MCU actors.
