This seminar explains how to mitigate, disprove, outweigh or undermine an opposing argument by using rebuttal. It explains the purpose and types of rebuttal, comparativeness, strategic considerations, as well as how to utilise thematic and integrated rebuttal. Several clear examples are worked through to assist understanding.

The seminar is presented by USU's Ellie Stephenson, who is a Worlds Semifinalist, Deputy Chief Adjudicator of the Australian Championships, and is the current NSW State Debating Coach.
