“Cooperation between countries is essential to make central Europe as a functional area more resilient to outside shocks.” This is one of the key conclusions of a newly published study by The Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw). In this study, a group of economists lead by Roman Römisch, analysed the contributions of Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE to economic, social and territorial cohesion in central Europe.
