The "Legends of Industry" Weekend at Tanfield Railway is like a "Steam Gala" with 2 visiting locomotives this year.

The Visiting Locomotives were GWR 813 posing as "Backworth No 12" where it had worked during its life and No 18 Lewin which had been borrowed from Beamish Museum.

The Intensive timetable is a real challenge for the Volunteers who run the Railway but they certainly rose to the occasion when i visited on Saturday 15th June 2019.
