This video shows you how to replace the inner tie rods on your 2003-09 Toyota 4Runner. The inner tie rod has a ball joint that can wear over time, causing a clunking noise, loose steering, and eventually, other problems with the wheel and suspension components. It’s a good idea to replace your inner tie rods as soon as you notice any of these symptoms.
This repair was done on a 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4.0L Sport Utility 4-Door and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
