In this video we run through setting up a bunch of integrals that will give the volume of a solid whose cross sections, perpendicular to the x-axis, are squares, equilateral triangles, semicircles, rectangles with a specific relationship between base and height, and that just have a given cross sectional area. In each case we set it up and then use a calculator to find the volume.
