Three more white ink lighting tests on three metallic papers for a little comparison/contrast tests. The papers all take media little differently with the Lapis Lazuli as the most porous, the Silver Stardream a little more sealed and the Silver Foil being completely non porous. The Brilliance pigment inks are a pretty good type of ink to not only negate some of the differences in surface but they're one of the few types of inks (that I know of) that will dry on the surfaces --especially the foil. If you stamp on foil and don't use something like a Staz-On ink or emboss your images, just plan on a long drying time. Brilliance might take a week or two to dry but it will eventually. One of my tests in this video is seeing if I can dab on some additional black ink on the foil. I wondered if some of the ink would just lift off the surface with each dab but it applied pretty well. If I did these scenes again, I would tone the scenes with additional black before stamping the images as I would be able to shade the scene more without having to worry about smearing the images while they were wet.
