Sanding without the sweeping. It might sound like a bit of a fantasy, but Blackridge has made it a reality with their superb 6” 150mm self-vacuuming air sander. Rather than simply spinning away any dust onto the floor of your worksite, this Blackridge air sander uniquely draws air through holes in the sanding pad, inhaling any created dust and pumping it away from the work area. This excess air and dust is then fed down a separate air hose, and into a collection bag, both included in this product. Still, this sander isn’t all about cleaning; this dual action (random orbital) sander will happily spin all the way up to 10,000 RPM allowing the operator to sand even the toughest of surfaces. To operate this air tool, a sustained free air flow of 110 Litres/min is required, as well as a regulated air pressure of around 90 PSI, however this isn’t out of reach for most workshop or garage compressors.
