Birds of Essex is back and once again we'll be looking at the birding news and sightings throughout the county. We find out whether Steve and Matt have recovered following last month's Big County Birdwatch, and if so where they've been and what they've seen. We take a quick look at the final results of BCBW22 and discuss our latest field trip to Gunners park, as well as the society's first ever 'pop-up' birdwatching event that was held recently. There's also an ID feature on some of our more common winter waders and we look forward to what's coming over the next month, including the finale of the autumn photo competition.
