One advantage of starting your own vegetable plants from seed is the larger variety of choices you have. You can start heirloom seeds that you can't buy in the local stores. Plus you can start the seedlings earlier than you can usually get them locally.

Seed Starting requires grow lights, here is a DIY Grow light rig I made: [ Ссылка ] Be sure to keep the plants very close to the light as they grow, its ok if the plants touch the lights.
